MECCA Flagship Store Melbourne

MECCA's new flagship occupies the heritage-listed 1911 David Jones building across three levels. ETAP Lightings K9 Series - the smallest compliant evacuation system in Australia — was selected to sit unobtrusively within the opulent heritage ceilings.

K9 Exits were specified in white, grey and black to match each of the store's different design themes. A custom brass housing was Designed and manufactured by Luminaire Studio for the heritage glass side entrance.

K9 Mini's sit within the heritage listed ceiling line without detracting from the beautiful ornate architecture.

K1 Emergencies and Exits were installed back of house to complement the K9 installation.

The K9 and K1 Exits and Emergencies offer EST+ stand alone self-testing and self-diagnosing feature for easy maintenance through the life of the install.
