Luna apartments
Dramatic vertical LED strip lighting set within high-gloss black wall panels
— a corridor lighting scheme that transforms a circulation space into a cinematic, gallery-like experience.
Geelong Arts Centre Dance Studios
The dance studios are flooded with natural daylight and require high-output lighting on high ceilings. Linear luminaires recessed into the ceiling with a custom powder coat finish blend seamlessly — effective and completely unobtrusive, perfect for a professional dance environment.
MECCA's new flagship occupies the heritage-listed 1911 David Jones building across three levels. ETAP Kg Series - the smallest compliant evacuation system in Australia — was selected to sit unobtrusively within the opulent heritage ceilings.
Ko exits were specified in white, grey and black to match each of the store's different design themes. A custom brass housing was manufactured by Luminaire Studio for the heritage glass side entrance.
MECCA Flagship Store
Room lighting for Crown Melbourne's Luxe King suites — vertical LED strips within high-gloss black wall panels create a dramatic, mirror-multiplied effect that defines the suite's signature aesthetic.
Crown Metropol
Custom architectural arm luminaires with tubular diffusers — designed specifically for the curved reception desk configuration at The Knee Institute. Bespoke product designed and manufactured by Luminaire Studio to meet the exacting requirements of the clinical interior.

Peninsula Grammar
Inspired by the native botanicals of the Mornington Peninsula — Eucalyptus Cinerea, Banksia Integrifolia and Viola Hederacea - this sculptural timber pendant was designed and manufactured entirely by Luminaire Studio. The stacked hardwood leaf forms hang above the school's new library reception on a copper suspension rod, a permanent centrepiece that exists nowhere else in the world.

Phoenix Gallery
John Wardle Architects asked Luminaire Studio to design a track-mounted emergency light to maintain pristine gallery ceilings. The Kg mini - the size of a $2 coin — is invisible in standby mode, coming to life only when needed with ETAP's precision emergency optics.
E589 Apartments
Architectural lighting design for E589 Apartments — a considered scheme that balances ambient, task and accent lighting throughout the residential development, creating warmth and character across every shared and private space.
A homage to Ballarat's gold rush era opulence. Luminaire Studio supplied ETAP K9 ultra slim blade exits — black with black-masked pictograms, eliminating light spill that would distract theatre patrons. Luminaire Studio also manufactured a custom curved linear pendant in timber and aged brass above the bar and ticket booth — a collaboration between three Geelong fabricators. The chandelier restoration was also completed by our team.
Her Majesty's Theatre
Luminaire Studio designed and manufactured ANZ Campus's custom direct/indirect LED teature pendants and desk lights. Meticulously calculated to eliminate ceiling spill light - all illumination concentrated within the dish and reflected back into the space. The concealed gear box sits hidden within the ceiling void
ANZ Campus
The foyer features a mesh ceiling with suspended large LED Rover Disks behind — light cascading through reminiscent of a theatre gel. Rover Disks supplied in four sizes: 380mm, 60omm, 900mm and 1200mm diameter. In-ground uplights dramatise the exposed heritage bluestone walls. Luminaire Studio's local Geelong presence was invaluable — 5 minutes from site throughout the build.
Geelong Arts Centre - Stage 2 Foyer
University of Melbourne Conservatory of Music-
Luminaire Studio designed and manutactured custom DMX-controlled
"Recording in Progress" signage lights for the Ian Potter Conservatorium of Music. Machined aluminium housing with integrated red LED COB, DMX controller and driver — linked directly to the studio recording boards. The most simple designs often prove the most difficult; these compact luminaires were a true test of Luminaire Studio's technical expertise.
Undercover roasters
Custom timber rings with LED nestled in suspended plant disks - two green living feature pendants that are the centrepieces of the café.
Complemented by Luminaire Studio's T965 Truss timber pendants custom manufactured at over 3 metres long, and Gherra timber wall lights from the Australian-made TRUSS range on the red brick walls.
The Wharf Shed
Pendant lighting and ambient LED throughout Geelong's waterfront dining venue — colourful cone pendants and warm strip lighting that complement the shed's industrial bones and create an inviting harbour atmosphere.
FJMT Architects design buildings meticulously down to the exit and emergency lighting. The Kg Mini emergencies are mounted between the timber slats - so well hidden during commissioning, even the experts struggled to find them. ETAP's ESM monitored system runs weekly function tests remotely.
